Kit Description

Kit will supply upwards of 185 hp. This is a non intercooled kit. Kit comes with all necessary hardware and instructions.  Kit will run 6 PSI of boost. Have our professional install facility install and setup your kit.  Upgrade your kit with Clutching, Guages and vent panels.

  • Mode 1:

    Green – Cruise Fuel Adjustment

Similar to adjusting pilot jet and mixture screw on carburetor vehicles. Decreasing the light value will add a lower amount of fuel. Increasing light value will add more fuel.

  • Mode 2:

    Yellow – Acceleration Fuel Adjustment

Similar to raising or lowering the needle on carburetor vehicles. Decreasing the light value will add a lower amount of fuel. Increasing light value will add more fuel.

  • Mode 3:

    Red – Full Throttle Fuel Adjustment

Similar to adjusting the main jet on carburetor vehicles. Decreasing the light value will add a lower amount of fuel. Increasing light value will add more fuel.

  • Mode 4:

    Green / Blue – Boost or Nitrous Fuel Adjustment

This function controls the amount of fuel added for boost and nitrous applications. Decreasing the light value will add a lower amount of fuel. Increasing light value will add more fuel.

  • Mode 5:

    Yellow / Blue – Acceleration Fuel Switch Point Adjustment

Decreasing the light value will cause the acceleration fuel to engage at a lower RPM. Increasing the light value will increase the RPM it engages.

TUNE THIS MODE WITH CAUTION!!!

  • Mode 6:

    Red / Blue – Full Throttle RPM Switch Point Adjustment

This function is the RPM switch point for when the full throttle fuel addition engages.

Adjustment is necessary to mostly match different pipes or big bore kits which require different fueling needs. Decreasing the light value will cause the full throttle fuel to engage at a lower RPM. Increasing the light value will increase the RPM it engages.

DRAGON FUEL BOX INSTRUCTIONS


Installation

  1. Open hood, remove PTO side panel.
  2. Remove electrical cover.
  3. Remove mag side ECU electrical plug which is the right side of ECU. Right and left side is determined by rider sitting on snowmobile.
  4. Locate yellow white wire, which is number seven pin position, which is counted from the left side of the plug holding the lock retainer in the twelve o’clock position. Cut the yellow white wire and attach to yellow wire coming from the BoostWurx box.
  5. Locate green white wire which is number nine pin position which is counted from the left side of the plug holding the lock retainer in the twelve o’clock position. Cut the green white wire and attach to the gray wire coming from the BoostWurx box.
  6. Locate yellow white wire from BoostWurx box and reattach to the other end of the yellow white wire that was cut in snowmobile wiring harness.
  7. Locate green wire from BoostWurx box and reattach to green white wire that was cut in snowmobile wiring harness.
  8. Locate air temp sensor on the PTO side of air box, which the left side of snowmobile, remove four wire plug at this time.
  9. Locate blue wire in the four wire plug and cut it at this time. Connect wire form sensor to the tan wire on BoostWurx box.
  10. Locate pink yellow wire from BoostWurx box and reattach to other end of blue wire that was cut in air temperature sender wiring harness..
  11. Locate the red wire from the BoostWurx box and connect to twelve volt power source.
  12. Locate black wire on BoostWurx box and attach to an independent engine ground.
  13. Tuck wires and locate BoostWurx box on handle bars with supplied velcro.


Notes

Turbo Models Only: Turbo charge models, hook blue boost tube to manifold pressure.

Nitrous Models Only: White wire with female connectors controls nitrous only. Refer to nitrous wiring instructions.
